In the valley of the loreley
The Upper Middle Rhine valley, known for its beautiful scenery, romantic castles and excellent wines, was designated a World Heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in June 2002. This honor confirms our location to be a truly unique scenic and cultural area of the world.
Hikers will find both the new "Rheinsteig" and the "Rheinburgenweg" trails to be quite impressive - a great way to see the Valley of the Loreley. For the adventurous there is the "Klettersteig" - for a taste of rock climbing in the Rhine Valley.
Biking is also big in the Romantic Middle Rhine Valley. Bike along the left bank.
Hotel Günther has secure, dry storage for bicycles / bikes. Standard bicycles can be hired in Boppard, but if you want to try out Boppard´s mountain bike trail it would be best to bring your own trail bike. Albeit this would probably be too expensive if flying with Ryan Air to Frankfurt Hahn Airport, but presumably some of the major airlines flying in to Frankfurt International Airport might include a bicycle as part of your luggage.
After a hard day´s hiking or biking, enjoy a nice hot shower in your private room in the guest house, or of course in a hotel room or suite. All of our accommodations have their own private bathroom. Make your reservations for overnight stays now.
